Get ready for Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne’s new show Platonic
The Cast and Production team
A new series starring Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne is coming to our small screens! The two actors play Will and Sylvia, respectively, in Platonic. The stars also serve as executive producers on the project, which is co-created co-written, and directed by Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco. Joining them onscreen are Luke Macfarlane as Charlie, Tre Hale as Andy, Carla Gallo as Katie, and Andrew Lopez as Reggie.
The Plot of Platonic
The series follows Will (Rogen) and Sylvia (Byrne), two former best friends who begin talking once again after “a long rift,” per the synopsis. But as revealed in the trailer, the two reconnect when Will is going through a divorce. With the duo facing midlife, the rekindled, platonic friendship is what they need. But it also “destabilizes their lives in a hilarious way.”
