Djokovic’s family: politics and “other interests” dominated his case

BELGRADE: The family of tennis player Novak Djokovic said on Sunday they were “extremely disappointed” by the decision of the Australian authorities to revoke his visa and expel him from the country. “We are deeply disappointed with the Federal Court’s decision and the fact that Novak has to leave Australia,” the family said in a note. “Despite the shameful behavior towards Novak, we believe that the sport must win.” The family indicated that the court decision was related to “politics and others (interests)”.
