He added die officials of these organizations serve the poorest of the poor and the poet-lyricist has offended them.

“We will not allow each of his movies to run in this country of Ma Bharti until he apologizes with hands folded to the officials of the sangho who have devoted their lives to the nation,” Mr Kadam, who is MLA from Ghatkopar West, said.

“Of course the Taliban are barbaric and their actions are reprehensible, but… die… supporting the RSS, VHP and Bajrang Dal are all the same,” he said.
Respond to a question on comments from some Muslim leaders die welcome the return of the Taliban in Afghanistan, Mr Akhtar said: “this people are a minuscule of the Muslim population of our nation”.
“Most of the Muslims met who I spoke to were shocked and appalled that such statements were made made by some. Today, most young muslims in India want An good job and a good education for their children in good schools. But on on the other hand there are some who want to believe in This sort of regressive thinking — true men and women are separated, where a regressive mentality is promoted. But like I said, this one people are a handful, so let them say what they want, they won’t reach it,” he said.
