A fan was kicked out of Doug Pederson’s news conference after the Philadelphia Eagles’ crucial NFL victory over the Dallas Cowboys.
The Eagles seized control of the NFC East thanks to a 17-9 win over the Cowboys in Philadelphia on Sunday. Philadelphia at least temporarily denied Dallas a second consecutive NFC East title, with the Eagles winning their final regular-season game against the New York Giants to secure the division.
The result left the door wide open for the Eagles to make the playoffs, and as Pederson tried to think of a performance, there was a surprise guest.
As Pederson spoke to reporters, the Eagles boss found that a person who had not been certified had made his way to the conference.
The fan was able to ask a question about Eli Manning and his next Giants opponents – Philadelphia. Asked: “Doug, Eli meeting next weekend, what do you think?”
Pederson replied, “Who is that? Is that the media?
The viewer was escorted out of the room.
“This will be done at SportsCenter,” Pederson joked as the press conference continued.
The Eagles (8-7) are away from the Giants (4-11) in New York on December 29th.
