And Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed on Saturday that Russia has fired 36 missiles in a heavy attack on Kiev, while his deputy, Kirilo Tymoshenko, claimed that more than one million homes in Ukraine were without electricity due to the Russian attacks on energy plants in all over the nation.

Zelensky’s comments came as new Russian attacks on Saturday targeted energy infrastructure in western Ukraine, with officials in several regions of the war-torn country that reported power outages.

Since Monday, Kiev has been the subject of repeated attacks by Russian drones and missile attacks, which have killed many people and in in particular, they targeted energy infrastructures.

Intensify the attacks

Interestingly, Russian forces have intensified their attacks on Ukrainian lands since last week, in particular in Kiev, in what was considered a response to the attack on the Crimean bridge, which connects the Russian mainland to the peninsula that Russia annexed in 2014.
