Dwayne Haskins Injury Update: Redskins QB transferred to ankle with ankle injury

Redskins rebel Dwayne Haskins had a painful exit from Sunday’s tank-off against the Giants.

The rookie had arguably the best game of the season in Week 16, completing 12 of 15 passes for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns against rival New York segments. In the third quarter, Haskins was hit low and then left the game.

Haskins was able to get out of the field on his own, but was transferred to the locker after reaching the sideline.

The Redskins announced that Haskins was questionable to return with an ankle injury. He was later downgraded to doubt.

The first round of 2019 was in the midst of a difficult first-year, but it looked like it was returning to its season before two starts, throwing 5 touchdowns in 1 interception in its last three starts, including Sunday.
