Dwayne Johnson’s Unusual Fake Beard Used in ‘Hercules’: ‘It’s Soft, Lays On Your Face’!

Dwayne Johnson is a popular actor who is beloved by both Gen-Z and Millennials. Gen-Z remembers him as a wrestler, The Rock, while Millennials know him as an action star who has appeared in films like Fast & Furious, the Jumanji series, and DC superhero Black Adam. Dwayne began his acting career with The Scorpion King and went on to star in the 2014 film Hercules. In an interview on Conan on TBS, Dwayne revealed that for the sake of authenticity, the Oscar-Nominated make-up artist used pubic hair from a yak to make his fake beard for the film. Dwayne said that when he asked what the beard was made of, he was told it was yak hair, and when he asked which part of the yak, he was told it was from the yak’s balls. Despite the underwhelming box office performance of his highly anticipated DC film, Black Adam, Dwayne still has a chance to return as the anti-hero in the new era of DC Films. Meanwhile, the actor is focusing on his upcoming Christmas special, Red One, in which he will co-star with Chris Evans.
