This Morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, both 61, are back on screens to present the show over the summer period, as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield take their annual break. Today, the broadcaster shared a video of himself on the way to the studio in the backseat of a car as he caught up with his fans.
In view of his 737,000 followers, he said: “Hello there, good morning to you.
“I am on my way into work today, it’s a gorgeous sunny day today. A sunny day makes me feel very happy, I’m also very happy that we’re both on This Morning this week.
“I would just like to thank everybody who’s made it such a pleasure for Ruth and I in welcoming us back.”
He went on to say the couple had six more weeks left on the show, until the main hosts were back.

Ruth went on to share a video from a car admiring the blue skies, around the same time as her spouse.
“Gonna be a scorcher,” she commented. “Off to @ThisMorning… see you at 10am @ITV.”
Eamonn and Ruth returned to their hosting duties after Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary’s stint on the show.
During their break, the broadcaster had been battling chronic pain, which was later identified as a dislocated pelvis and three slipped discs.
Eamonn had been undergoing physio to try and combat the pain, which also caused him sleepless nights.
In an update about his health, Ruth recently told Sunday Express Magazine: “He’s OK.
“It’s a slow process. He’s just carrying on with his physio and putting the work into that.”
She continued: “It’s very difficult when someone is in pain because it’s hard to help them.”
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
