Egypt: disbursement of 456.5 million pounds due to 2,000 workers with “Iron and Steel”

The Ministry of Public Affairs in Egypt announced the completion of the payment of membership dues for 2000 employees of the Steel Company (in liquidation), for a value of £ 456.5 million.

The ministry said in a statement that Al Arabiya.net received a copy today, Saturday, that this exchange falls within the framework of the ministry’s attention to the rights and interests of workers.

This step also leads to the activation of the collective bargaining agreement for the employees of the Steel Company (in liquidation), which was issued on 09/30/2021.

The agreement took place under the auspices of the Ministries of Public Administration and Manpower. So that employees can benefit from the complementary system of free end of service For voluntary abandonment of the service before reaching the age of majority.
