Egypt is preparing to establish a factory for the production of alcohol

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sugar and Integrated Industries Company, which is part of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade of Egypt, Essam Al-Budaiwi said that the company has received 3 international proposals to establish a plant for the production of absolute alcohol. .

Al-Budaiwi said in a statement on the sidelines of his participation in the exhibition (Food Africa) that proposals submitted by Italian, Indian and French companies are being studied to establish a plant that is located on an area of ​​two to three acres, with an expected production capacity of 80 million liters per year, extracted from cane, with an investment of £1.5 billion.

He added that one of the advanced companies offered to carry out the construction process, the second offered to enter into a partnership, and the third offered financing in exchange for obtaining the final product. He indicated that the goal was to create another alcohol production. factory in Nagaa Hammadi area.
