Ghobashi said that the price of a kilogram of cow and buffalo milk had risen by about 1 pound, to a record 7 pounds per kilogram of beef and 15 pounds per kilogram of buffalo milk; Prices for cheese and ghee also rose, reaching £750 for a bowl of cheese and thousands of pounds for a bowl of ghee.

Prices for milk and milk products fluctuated during the third week of last month, where the price per kilogram of buffalo milk ranged from 14 to 16 pounds, and the price of packaged milk ranged from 19 to 20 pounds per liter, and feta cheese ranged from 8 to 10 pounds. per kilogram and from 35 to 40 pounds per kilogram.

Prices for soft white cheese ranged from £48 to £58 per kilogram, for dry white cheeses from £50 to £60 per kilogram, and for Turkish cheese from £98 to £120 per kilogram.
