Egypt will not allow the entry of non-compliant goods standard Europeans by March

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi confirmed that full automation of the customs and tax system will be completed before March 2022.

He added, during a speech broadcast on Egyptian television, on the sidelines of the inspection of the port of Alexandria, that his country will not allow the entry of imported products that do not comply with standard European quality by March 2022.

President Sisi indicated that the goal of the machine and customs modernization is to facilitate procedures for all importers, as well as to achieve transparency in performance.

Al-Sisi clarified that starting from next March, goods and products from outside Egypt not subject to European standards will not be able to enter, in coinciding with the completion of port automation, which aims to achieve transparency in performance and facilitate international trade.
