Elon Musk, the new owner of the Twitter platform, has announced a monthly fee of $ 8 for the account documented in the Blue Sparrow app.

“The current system of gentlemen and peasants on Twitter for those with or without a blue check mark makes no sense,” wrote Musk. in a tweet through his account, adding, “Power to the people! Blue for $ 8 a month,” noting that this created a new source of revenue for the platform.

He also posted a tweet dressed as “Superman” and wrote “$ 8 .. yes”, referring to the blue verification mark that appears next to verified accounts.

Interestingly, Musk acquired Twitter last Thursday for $ 44 billion. The move came after the new owner of Bluebird, who also runs Tesla and SpaceX, fired Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal and other senior company officials last week.

The controversial man last week completed the acquisition of the famous company social networking after many months of back and forth.

He then moved quickly to make changes to the company, which he mocked for months for being slow in making changes to its products or deleting spam accounts.
