Elon Musk: The blue tick decision on Twitter will be made in this date

New Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk announced that the account’s blue-tagged decision, verified on the site web by Blue Bird, will likely be picked up at the end of next week.

The American billionaire had previously announced that the company would charge a $ 8-per-month fee for the blue tick service, while trying to increase subscriptions and make the social network less dependent on ads.

Musk said subscribers with blue ticks will have priority in responses, mentions and searches, they will be in able to post longer video and audio and will see half of the ads.

Interestingly, Musk completed the $ 44 billion acquisition of “Twitter” after many months of back and forth.

The blue certification mark, the result of a defamation lawsuit against the company in 2009 that was involved in creating controversy, is a mark of position in the digital community.

The main objective of the program was to verify the identity of certain categories of people, such as celebrities, politicians, companies and journalists as protection against impersonation and fraud, and company rules require that accounts be “trusted, distinct and active” to get the mark.
