Emily Ratajkowski shares swimsuit photo when she was 14 and advises young girls

Emily Ratajkowski is one of the greatest models in the world. In addition to her modeling and acting jobs, she is also a fashion designer with her own clothing line – Inamorata Woman. Emily is known for posting many sexy selfies and as her clothing line focuses on swimwear, she often shares what many would consider pretty revealing photos. She became a household name after appearing in the video for Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams “Blurred Lines”. Now the 28-year-old woman is sharing a few words of wisdom for young girls who are on Instagram or other social media platforms and who may feel they need to post sexy photos. Emily shared a swimsuit photo when she was 14 and revealed that she had mixed feelings about the image.

Known for her flawless figure, Emily is frequently accused of taking photos of her body in photos and wanted to share the selfie back to prove that her curves are real. She started off by saying that she always turned to this photo from her younger years to prove that her body was all natural, but she said now, seeing herself in a sexy bikini at the age of 14, gives her mixed feelings.

She said that looking back, she wanted to encourage herself to be more than just a beautiful body. She also encouraged the young girls not to worry about their appearance on Instagram and to focus on other things such as books.

You can see the return photo shared by Emily with her caption that offered sound advice to young girls below.

“I liked to show people this picture of me at 14 to prove that my body is natural. Now I’m a little sad that it exists. I was only a child in this photo and I wish the world had encouraged my 14 year old self to be more than my body. All that said, I always feel like I have been empowered through my body and my sexuality via models and platforms like Instagram. Fortunately, I discovered parts of me that are so much more important than “sex appeal”, but if you’re a 14 year old girl reading this, don’t worry about anything yet. Read a lot of books and know that what you see on Instagram is just a very small fraction of complete and beautifully complex human beings. “
