The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, called on Monday for cooperation between the National Assembly and the government and expressed his hope that the country will witness a parliamentary session tomorrow.
He also stressed die urgent need for constructive cooperation between the two authorities and the reflection of the highest interest of the home country by having die Respect for the judiciary, especially the provisions of the Constitutional Court, and in particular die Article 50 of it required compliance with the provisions of the Constitution.
In addition, he exhibited die Necessity to hold on to and maintain the democratic process and expressed his confidence in die MPs and their willingness to overcome this phase with wisdom and awareness so that all efforts and energies can be directed towards achieving growth and progress in the country.
The Emir of Kuwait earlier this month issued a decree approving the formation of the new government after Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah gave him die Names of his new ministers had submitted for approval.
