Just days ago, while navigating the streets of London, she found herself a victim of theft as her phone was snatched away, leaving her engulfed in a whirlwind of fear and helplessness.
Sharing her ordeal on Instagram, the 29-year-old dancer expressed her emotional turmoil, revealing, “It was quite traumatising on the day. It wasted my whole day and made me feel awful.” She candidly admitted to feeling a vulnerability that many can relate to, saying, “I mean, I see it happening all the time, but it’s just one of those things that you just never think is gonna happen to you. and then it does.”
To add to the chilling nature of the incident, Michelle recounted, “He just left. He was wearing a mask so there was no way that I could have seen what he looked like and he was going really fast on that electric bike.” Despite her shock, she found solace in the kindness of strangers, noting, “Thankfully there were two really lovely and helpful women there and they’d seen that I was a bit distressed.”
In a powerful message to her followers, she urged everyone to stay alert, cautioning, “This can happen to you in Central London. Be aware and be very careful. Phone theft is happening more and more, and it seems like crime in the city is getting worse … Has something like this ever happened to you?”
