Martin Kemp Shares Heartwarming Moment with Daughter Harley

In a touching moment that melted hearts, Martin Kemp shared a heartfelt announcement about his daughter, Harley Moon. The Spandau Ballet star took to Instagram, showcasing a sweet snapshot of the duo where he affectionately kissed the top of Harley’s head while sporting a stylish green jacket. With a loving message to his 571,000 followers, he said, “My baby girl @harleymoonkemp shooting my next drop of MJK clothes…. She’s the best, I love you Har!!”

The warm tribute quickly resonated with fans, prompting an outpouring of support and heartfelt congratulations. Comments lit up the post, with one fan expressing, “Awww what a beautiful touching pic of father and daughter.” Another noted, “That is so beautiful—a true father showing so much love. Don’t take it for granted; some of us don’t have that. Harley and Roman, you’ve got the best parents in the world!” Not to mention, someone sweetly pointed out, “Bless, she is the double of her mum, both beautiful ladies.”

Harley Moon, at 35, is the eldest child of Martin and his wife Shirlie Holliman, 62. While many might recognize her brother, the TV and radio host Roman, 32, Harley has made quite a name for herself as a talented director and singer. Recently, she revealed some of her musical work that brought her parents to tears. In a heartfelt post, she shared, “Recorded the first time playing my parents the song I wrote about them, ‘What Good Looks Like.’ They really have shown me what real love is and made me so full of strength and happiness. I haven’t found that kinda love yet… but I know it’s out there.”

The video captured a precious moment with her parents as they listened to her sing lines like “my momma taught me how to be strong” and “daddy always knew how to love his little girl.” Shirlie was visibly emotional, covering her face as she exclaimed, “Oh my God, I’m crying,” while Martin wiped away tears and hugged his daughter tightly when the song ended.

As if watching their talented daughter bloom wasn’t enough, Martin recently shared a worry that comes with being a parent. He opened up about the possibility of his children opting for private weddings. Reflecting on his own intimate nuptials in St. Lucia back in 1988—where no guests were present—he shared with Shirlie that they “can’t be heartbroken” if Harley or Roman choose to do the same. “Roman will do exactly the same thing [as us]. Everything he does, he’s looked at, so he’ll want to go away. And we can’t be heartbroken because we’ll have no right to be,” he admitted, showcasing his understanding of their desire for privacy.
