Sharon Osbourne Removes Rock Band from Ozzy’s Final Concert

In a whirlwind of drama, Sharon Osbourne has revealed she axed a “huge” rock band from the lineup of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne’s final concert. The fiery revelation emerged during an interview with Metal Hammer, where she candidly admitted to a major fallout with the band’s manager, describing the experience as “probably the worst way I’ve felt in years.”

“I don’t care what this person says about me, thinks about it, because he doesn’t know me,” Sharon declared boldly. “He’s now going around making up bulls— lies because I threw his band off the bill. I don’t care what people say. Because do you know what? I don’t love them. I care about people who love me, what they say about me.” This unapologetic stance echoes her infamous clash with Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson back during Ozzfest 2005, where she didn’t hold back either.

Reflecting on that incident, Sharon recalled, “I love Iron Maiden, it’s just the singer because he was so horribly disrespectful. But if you’re going to take Ozzy’s money, and play before him every night of a festival, and you’re bad-mouthing him to the crowd, you’ve got to pay.” She continued with a chuckle, “So I had him pelted with cans of baked beans that were open, and cut his sound.” Classic Sharon.

Despite the tension, she emphasized it was not Iron Maiden that faced the axe. When pressed about the identity of the mysterious band, Sharon laughed off the suggestion. “Oh god, no. Ozzy only has respect for the guys in Maiden. He didn’t even know what Bruce was doing until the night it happened, and he just looked at me and goes, ‘You’re terrible.’”

Since the announcement of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne’s Back to the Beginning concert earlier this year, no other bands have been officially removed from the lineup, leading fans to speculate that the mysterious group was dropped beforehand. Critics have called out the event for its lack of British and female acts, focusing instead on the predominantly American lineup.

Adding to the confusion, a recent pay-per-view livestream announcement initially left Tool and Rival Sons off the promotional poster, but they’ve since made a comeback. The concert, set to be a spectacle, includes not only Sabbath and Ozzy but also a stellar lineup featuring Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God, Tool, Rival Sons, Anthrax, and Mastodon. A metal lover’s dream come true!

Hosted by the charismatic Jason Momoa, the all-day event promises more than just performances. A supergroup featuring legends like Billy Corgan from The Smashing Pumpkins, David Draiman of Disturbed, Duff McKagan and Slash from Guns N’ Roses, and many more will grace the stage, making this not just a concert but a historical moment in rock music.
