However, fans can breathe a sigh of relief as a recent Q&A has dispelled concerns about the proposed spotlight on Hades. Skyler Shuler from The DisInsider addressed the rumors directly, confirming that the current vision aims for a “faithful adaptation” of the cherished original. This decision comes particularly in light of the mixed responses to the updated ending of the live-action adaptation of Lilo and Stitch.
The 1997 Hercules amassed an impressive $252 million at the box office against its $85 million budget. Directed by the talented Ron Clements and John Musker, the film recounts the struggles of demi-god Hercules, voiced by Tate Donovan, who grows up among mortals after being abducted from Olympus by the cunning Hades, voiced by James Woods.
