NBC Reveals Fall TV Schedule and New Show Lineup

NBC Announces Fall TV Lineup: Major Moves and New Series

As fall approaches, NBC has officially unveiled its schedule for the upcoming television season. Following in the footsteps of CBS, NBC’s lineup features exciting changes, including the return of fan-favorite series, newly premiered shows, and a few surprises. Here’s everything you need to know about the major moves, the full schedule, and which shows have been held for midseason.

The Big Moves

This year, NBC is making substantial adjustments to its lineup:

  • Brilliant Minds is set to retain its coveted Monday at 10 PM time slot, following the hit competition show, The Voice. This hit drama was recently renewed for another season and promises to keep viewers captivated.
  • In another strategic move, The Hunting Party has been slated to air after Law & Order: SVU on Thursdays, taking the place of the recently canceled Found. Both sophomore dramas are now confirmed for full-season orders within the typical 18-22 episode range.
  • On Tuesdays, The Voice will continue to dominate until mid-October when NBA basketball takes over. Concurrently, a new unscripted series, On Brand With Jimmy Fallon, is set to air, highlighting Fallon’s comedic style during an exciting basketball season.
  • Viewers will have to wait until November for the return of St. Denis Medical and Happy’s Place. The former will initiate a new Monday night comedy block as The Voice shifts to a one-hour format, while Happy’s Place lands back on Fridays.
  • Additionally, NBC is exploring new comedy options this season. The newly greenlit series The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, starring Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe, is in contention for two time slots this November. Other potential new series include the cheerleading comedy Stumble and a project from Sierra Teller Ornelas of Superstore, both currently in production.
