Erdogan reveals the quantities of Ukrainian wheat exported to rich and poor countries

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan released on Friday a series of statements on the question of extending the agreement for the export of grain from Ukraine, the establishment of a gas center and relations with Sweden and the United States.

Erdogan stated in statements to the press he made during his return flight from Azerbaijan to Turkey, that “there is no objection to the extension of the agreement on grain shipments across the Black Sea”, adding that he sensed this during his talks with his Ukrainian counterparts, Vladimir Zelensky and Russian Vladimir Putin.

Erdogan pointed out that 62 percent of grain shipments from Ukrainian ports have gone in Europe and only 5.7 percent, equal to 454 thousand and 626 tons, reached the least developed countries.

Erdogan said he plans to hold telephone talks with Presidents Putin and Zelensky soon.

Regarding the gas dossier, Erdogan stressed that his country is starting to assess Europe’s energy needs and said: “We will assess what Europe expects and expects regarding the gas distribution center and we will take measures on this basis “.

Regarding relations with Sweden and his request to join NATO, Erdogan stressed that the new Swedish Prime Minister “supports the fight against terrorism and terrorists” and said: “The Swedish Prime Minister has asked for a date for visit Turkey and hold talks with us … I said OK, let him come. “

On the negotiations for the purchase of F-16 fighters from Washington, Erdogan said: “We have done and are doing everything necessary to achieve a positive result, and the global market remains large and there are various solutions available.”
