Erdogan: We are determined to increase the number of our friends and end the rivalry

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said his country was determined to increase the number of his friends and end hostilities in the coming period in order to make his region an “oasis of peace,” as he put it, and like Turkish ones Media reported.

This came in his speech on Turkey’s external relations on Wednesday during his participation in the Seventh General Conference of the Justice and Development Party at the Ankara High School in the capital.

Erdogan emphasized that the “Justice and Development Party” had succeeded in strengthening and diversifying Turkey’s foreign policy instruments since it came to power 19 years ago.

He stated that his party had also implemented a policy of openness to several regions such as Africa, Asia and Latin America.

He continued: “We believe that we have no problem that cannot be solved with any country that respects our country’s national interests.”

He said: “We are determined to increase the number of our friends and end hostilities in the coming period in order to make our region an oasis of peace.”

And he added: “Turkey, as a country that wants trust and stability for itself and the whole world, is prepared with all its might for the post-epidemic stage.”
