Esperance of Tunisia Advances to Semifinals of African Champions by Eliminating JS Kabylie

Esperance Sportive de Tunis has qualified for the semi-finals of the African Champions League football competition after a 1-1 draw with Algeria’s JS Kabylie. The match took place at the Hammadi Al-Aqrabi Stadium, Brades, in the Tunisian capital. This draw was enough for Esperance to progress, following their 1-0 victory in the first leg. Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan opened the scoring for Esperance in the 49th minute of the match, and Adam Rajam managed to equalize for JS Kabylie in the 85th minute. In the semi-finals, Esperance is expected to play Egyptian club Al-Ahly, who qualified at the expense of Moroccan team Raja Casablanca.
