Euler Dayton Daylight, Ostron Matsueu of the Dutch Championship in Toronto, highlights complete NHL Weekend lists

The NHL’s Division of Hockey Operations on Monday named 37 players in four All-Star teams throughout the division.

The announced players will play along with the captains of each category, who were named in a December 21 announcement. David Pastrnak (Atlantic), Nathan MacKinnon (Central) and Connor McDavid (Pacific) were selected as captains in the NHL All-Star Skills Competition for 2020 on January 24 and the three in three leagues on January 25. Washington Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin was originally named captain of the Metroplolitan team, but announced Dec. 27 that he would not attend all-star events to rest his body and prepare for the regular season stretch.

12 players in total – including Calgary Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk and St. Louis Blues goalkeeper Jordan Binnington – will be joining the All-Star weekend for the first time in their career this January. Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane (the ninth choice of all stars) is the senior player currently named in one of the four teams.

In addition to these players, the NHL will hold all the stars for the last men to allow fans to select the final players in each All-Star roster. The league selected one player from each league team and will add the highest number of voters per division in each All-Star roster. Voting for the last men begins January 1 at 12 pm ET and runs until January 10 at 11:59 pm ET.

Let’s take a look at the four league All-Star teams for each division.
