Europe, Asia tighten borders against COVID variant as WHO urges caution

LONDON/GENVE, Nov 26 (Reuters) – Global authorities reacted with alarm on friday till a new coronavirus variant detected in South Africa, with the EU and Great Britain among those die sharpen the border controls as scientists tried to find out if the mutation was vaccine resistant.
