The European Union warned on Friday that the euro zone will enter in recession during the winter with high energy prices, while the bloc expects the inflation rate to reach 6.1% next year.
The European Commission has said that growing uncertainty and rising costs should precipitate thearea of the euro and most of the blockade in the recession during the last quarter of 2022.
Brussels forecast inflation rate to reach 8.5% questyear, before dropping to 6.1% next year, a rate two points higher than the previous forecast released in July.
