A European report accuses the government of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of having instructed the terrorist organization ISIS to carry out a bomb attack carried out by two suicide bombers during an organized march in the capital, Ankara, in 2015.
THE media Turks reported that a secret EU intelligence report accused the ruling Justice and Development Party of hiring the terrorist organization ISIS to carry out the Ankara massacre in October 2015.
Two suicide bombers blew themselves up during a peaceful march in the capital, Ankara, killing 103 people, in what is considered the worst terrorist attack in the contemporary history of Turkey.
The Turkish government blamed the attack by the terrorist organization ISIS, but the organization did not claim responsibility, which raised tensions between the government and the opposition pro-Kurdish People’s Democratic Party, which it considered the direct attack against it.
Authorities have accused 36 suspected ISIS members, some of whom have been tried in in absentia, and a Turkish court sentenced 9 defendants to life in prison in August 2018.
