We had already had Angry Birds at the cinemawith a film produced by Sony in 2016 and its sequel in 2019, on had had books and comics, on had had three theme parks (Finland, UK, and China) … Rovio had even produced a animated series in 104 episodesAngry Birds Toons, which aired between 2013 and 2016. But now the studio Rovio announces a partnership with Amazon for a new animated series baptized Angry Birds: Mystery Islandand subtitled “A Hatchlings Adventure”.

Series Created by a Former Futurama Screenwriter
Rovio, Prime Video and Amazon Kids+ announce a new animated series in 24 episodes created by Eric Rogers (screenwriter of several episodes of Futurama) and Titmouse (cartoon production company, known for example for Star Trek: Lower Decks, the opening of Hearthstone Mercenaries, or the cutscenes of Hi-Fi Rush).

Follow Young Hatchlings on Their Adventures to an Uncharted Island
The series should follow the four young birds called the Hatchlings, as they land on an all-expenses-paid island for a little getaway. Only once placed they are mistakenly catapulted to an uncharted island full of mystery. Without their parents, the chicks will have to explore the island, unravel its mysteries, and find their way to get back to safety. They will discover exotic sites and supernatural phenomena, and will surely see their very strong bond put to the test. The cast already announced includes the voice of Harvey Guillén, Kate Micucci, Dominic Monaghan, and Nasim Pedrad.
We don’t have a release date for this series yet, but on knows it will only be available on Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Kids+.
