FanDuel Core Plays: Week 14 NFL DFS Tips, Cash Game Options

This week’s four Fanduel kernels will try and recover from last week’s disappointment that included Jonathan Williams and DJ Chark. Fanduel’s 14 cash games of the week are the perfect time to get into an NFL DFS if you miss your fantastic league playoffs.

WEEK 14 MULTIPLE KIDS:
Quarterback | Running back Wide receiver Tight end D / ST | Kicker

We found more value in our core team this week than usual, starting with our variations with Ryan Tannehill, Alvin Kamara, Jamaal Williams and Mike Williams. Below, you will find an exemplary preparation surrounding these four players in Fanduel.

WEEK 14 PPR GRADES: Running back Wide receiver Tight end

  • # 1

QB Ryan Tannehill, Titans @ Raiders ($ 7,300)

MAIN GAME:There weren’t many finalists in the league who were better than Tannehill since taking over for Marcus Mariota earlier this season. Tennessee will always be a team that seems to establish a run through Derrick Henry. Still, Tannehill was extremely effective with his limited attempts to pass and showed enough rushing ability to give him a solid floor at his price point. This week, Tannehill controls only $ 7,300 on FanDuel in a Raiders defensive tackle that has looked horrible in recent weeks and has given up the 4th most fantastic spots in the NFL in opposing quarterbacks. With many of the high-end quarterback options in tough matchups, I have no problem spending Tannehill in both cash games and GPP.

  • # 2

RB Alvin Kamara, Saints vs. 49ers ($ 7,600)

MAIN GAME:Kamara was one of the most frustrating players to reach DFS this season. He gets the usual volume of touchdowns and sees amazing volume in the passing game with 45 goals in his last 5 games. However, it has not touched the ground or through the air since Week 3, which has killed its upside. We have to think that some Touchdown bend is coming to Kamara before the end of the season and I’m willing to go with him this week with a very reasonable $ 7,600 invoice. The matchup is tough against the 49ers, but I think the Saints offense will do well at this point with San Francisco playing their second consecutive East Coast, 1 p.m. kickoff. The Kamara is the seventh highest value running back on the plate, which is very low given its upside if the positive touchdown regression finally hit.

  • # 3

RB Jamaal Williams, Packers vs. Redskins ($ 5,600)

MAIN GAME:Roster’s build this week leads me to play two value games in my core games, starting with Williams at $ 5,600 on FanDuel. Williams has been the most consistent back in the Packers backfield in recent weeks, absorbing nearly all of the passing game over Aaron Jones, but still comes in at a $ 2,200 discount. While Jones certainly has the highest rise and the most equilibrium stocks, I like the floor Williams offers this season and it makes a lot of sense to get cash or GPP lineup-style “stars and scrubs”. Williams has seen at least 10 bets in each of the last three weeks and I expect that trend to continue with the Packers coming as a 13-point favorite in the Redskins.

  • # 4

WR Mike Williams, Chargers @ Jaguars ($ 5,900)

MAIN GAME:The other value game I see this week is Mike Williams. It’s been a tough time for Williams, who doesn’t just have a touchdown since he’s a red zone monster in 2018. Similar to Kamara, I’d be shocked if Williams didn’t have at least some positive rebounding before the end of the season. Williams has been used as the main threat for the Chargers this season and his goal yards are among the highest in the NFL, making him an exciting game on a web like FanDuel that is not worth as much as DraftKings. The matchup is also good for Williams and the rest of the Chargers offense, who take on the Jaguars, who have allowed 34.3 points per game over their last three outings.

  • # 5

WR Russell Gage, Falcons vs. Panthers ($ 5,700)

Gage fits well into the vacant slot receiver role that opened when Mohammed Sanu was sent to New England. Gage has seen 19 goals in the last two weeks and his share of the offense should be safe even with Julio Jones likely to return this week.

  • # 6

WR DeVante Parker, Dolphins @ Jets ($ 7,200)

The other point of the WR goes to Parker, whose outburst I don’t think anyone saw coming. Parker was one of the best players in the league last month and his goal is to find a player that costs more than $ 7,000. Parker has seen 10 or more goals in each of his last four games and averages 113.5 yards per game on those pitches. It feels weird to pay that much for a player who had been described as a pioneer to this point in his career, but it’s hard to ignore him in a big match with the Jets in a week where many of the high-end receivers are on hard counterparts.

  • # 7

TE Ryan Griffin, Jets vs. Dolphins ($ 5,600)

I expect Jack Doyle to be a popular cash game, but the value of $ 6,300 is more than I’m willing to pay with so much of my salary at Christian Cash McCaffrey’s bank. Griffin has a qualifying match against the Dolphins – a matchup where he saw eight goals back in Week 9.

  • # 8

FLEX Christian McCaffrey, Panthers @ Falcons ($ 11,000)

This is a very difficult week for cash games, so I want to lock myself in Cash Games: Christian McCaffrey, even with the high $ 11,000. McCaffrey is coming off one of the worst outings of the season against the Redskins last week, but has an exploitable rebounding spot this week against the Atlanta Falcons.

  • # 9

D / ST Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Colts ($ 3,800)

The D / ST point goes to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have really turned things around on that side of the ball in recent weeks. They have had defensive touchdowns in each of their last two games and have combined to record a total of 11 sacks in those games as well. This week, Tampa will welcome the battered Colts to town. While the Colts have one of the best offensive linemen in the league, all three T.Y. could be missing. Hilton, Marlon Mack and Eric Ebron, and we saw how much they fought last week for an offense against the Titans with all these pieces from the lineup.
