FanDuel Core: Week 16 NFL DFS tips, cash options

Week 16 FanDuel core organizers are not for the faint of heart as they begin with a QB championship that makes its first NFL start in Will Grier. There is a little more security for players around him, but if you get hit by fantasy playoffs and feel like you are risking everything, Grier might be for you.

WEEK 16 RATING NO PRESENCE:
Quarterback | Running back Wide receiver Tight end D / ST | Kicker

Grier is part of a series of cash games from other major theatrical works by Joe Mixon, Austin Ekeler and Darius Slayton. Below, you will find an example of a cash brand built around these four players.

WEEK 16 DFS LINEUPS:
FD Cash | FD GPP | DK cash Y! Cash Y! GPP

  • # 1

QB Will Grier, Panthers @ Colts ($ 6,000)

MAIN GAME:The Panthers have decided to upgrade Kyle Allen and see what they have in Will Grier for the last two games of the season. While Grier is a virtual unknown, I’m willing to give FanDuel a chance at $ 6,000 in a good match with the Colts. Grier has a strong hand and has shown some rushing up during his college days in West Virginia. The Week 16 slate is pretty ugly for quarterbacks if you don’t want to pass up Lamar Jackson or Drew Brees, but I’m going to choose to go down and punt at Grier in cash to help jam three big volume runs back into the lineup.

  • # 2

RB Austin Ekeler, Chargers vs. Raiders ($ 6,800)

MAIN GAME:Christian McCaffrey is going to make my turn in cash, but there is enough of an advantage to weaken him in this week’s tournaments to avoid cutting the core. Instead, I opt for a much cheaper run back to Ekeler, which has the highest dollar per dollar upside between each run back on the slate. The Chargers’ season is dead in the water, but I expect them to put up a decent battle this week in a home game against a division rival. Ekeler has not seen the elite of volume since Melvin Gordon returned from his holdout, but was one of the league’s most effective players with his limited touch. FanDuel’s under $ 7,000 swap options are impossible, but Ekeler makes a nice mid-range value and can hit salary expectations 3 times at his price point.

  • # 3

RB Joe Mixon, Bengals @ Dolphins ($ 7,800)

MAIN GAME:I haven’t been able to play Mixon once this season, but it will be impossible to ignore him this week, given the volume he has seen in the last four weeks and the fight against the Miami Dolphins, who are 32nd in the DVOA defense. Mixon has 23 or more touches in each of the last three games and has 150 or more yards of scrimmage in each of the last two. I don’t like the FanDuel price of $ 7,800 – much better for the DraftKings at $ 6,600 – but I don’t have much interest in spending on any of the other high-end backs outside of Christian McCaffrey. The combination of volume and match make Mixon a top cash game and one that will want some exposure in tournaments despite the potential high ownership.

  • # 4

WR Darius Slayton, Giants @ Redskins ($ 6,000)

MAIN GAME:Anyone who picked Darius Slayton last week (I was one of them) got a great deal after staying out, seeing only three goals a day. While I’m a little anxious to get back to him after seeing that small volume, I think last week’s game is a departure and not the rule after New York chose to lean on Saquon Barkley. Slayton is a great value for FanDuel at $ 6,000 and the matchup is good against the Redskins, who are on average the best team against the pass. Slayton should be priced in the $ 6,500 range with players like Mike Williams, Terry McLaurin and Michael Gallup, so I’ll be happy to get the value and promoter up with Slayton in all forms.

  • # 5

WR Danny Amendola, Lions @ Broncos ($ 6,000)

Amendola has seen 29 goals in the last three weeks and is clear option no. 2 for the Lions with Marvin Jones on IR. Reverse is limited, but you must like the target’s cash volume at its price point.

  • # 6

WR Christian Kirk, Cardinals @ Seahawks ($ 5,900)

While Kirk has not lost a ton of upwards in recent weeks, he still sees a decent share of offense in the offense and has a good fight against an average Seahawks passing defense. The $ 5,900 price tag offers good value for a player we have seen aiming 10-plus up in many cases this season.

  • # 7

TE Zach Ertz vs. Eagles Cowboys ($ 6,900)

I usually like to spend tight on cash games, but this week Zach Ertz is a very reasonable price for someone who is the clear tip of the iceberg for passing his team. Ertz has seen 10 or more goals in five of the last six games and has a matchup with the Cowboys, who are struggling to defend their opponent’s tight ends. Ertz should have been over $ 7,000 in FanDuel given his role in the offense with the Eagles core under Greg Ward Jr. and JJ Arcega-Whiteside.

  • # 8

FLEX Christian McCaffrey, Panthers @ Colts ($ 10,800)

I prioritize Christian Cash McCaffrey in cash games all season and do it again in Week 16. He’s on pace for 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving season, gets the entire goal line and has a WR1 track-play volume. . If you are not playing it in cash games week in and week out, then you probably haven’t been double-headed and head-to-head this season.

  • # 9

New York Jets vs. D / ST Steelers ($ 3,600)

The D / ST goes to the New York Jets, which are very cheap at $ 3,600 and have a good matchup at home against the Steelers. It doesn’t matter who between Devlin Hodges and Mason Rudolph starts at quarterback for Pittsburgh. both are primary turnovers and not NFL-caliber starters.
