FanDuel NFL Playoffs DFS Options: Tips for Listing for Wild Card Weekend GPP Tournament

The NFL Wild Card Weekend challenges us to put together the DFS for the playoffs because of the small slate of the four games. For FanDuel, QB pricing is such that it almost doesn’t matter who you choose because it’s so tight. This means that in order to win a GPP on FanDuel, you’ll want to pick the right stack and pin the RB options.

For this series of tournaments, the stack we selected is Houston, bringing Deshaun Watson, DeAndre Hopkins and Kenny Stills to Buffalo. Playing Hopkins means we fade away Michael Thomas and instead play both Alvin Kamara and Derrick Henry, good floor / ceiling combinations at RB.

NFL DFS Wild Card Weekend: FanDuel Option for GPP

QB Deshaun Watson, Texans vs. Bills ($ 8,100). Buffalo’s defense had several high points this season, but Watson is talented until he can have a monster game against any opponent at any time. A home playoff game looks as good as any.

RB Marshawn Lynch, Seahawks @ Eagles ($ 5,900). I’m going to have Beast Mode all over the place in my qualifiers this weekend – he’ll just have to be the one Seattle relies on for double digits (as in Week 17) to win games.

RB Alvin Kamara, Saints vs. Vikings ($ 8,200). This composition disappears from Michael Thomas and draws Kamara from the offense of the Saints. After ending his drought and pulling out twice a week, the hope here is that Kamara is once again finding the end zone.

WR DeAndre Hopkins, Texans vs. Accounts ($ 8,300). Hopkins faces Tre’Davious White, but he’s still an obvious candidate at the top of the stack with Watson to avoid.

WR Kenny Stills, Texans vs. Bills ($ 5,600). With Will Fuller V likely coming back again, Stills should heal and be the No. 2 WR for Watson and the Texans – this is a point that could benefit him away from White shadowing.

WR Greg Ward vs. Eagles Seahawks ($ 5,600). We have Seattle’s defense, yes, but Ward has to do most of his damage in the middle of the race and away from the end zone, which means they can both have solid games.

TE Taysom Hill, Saints v. Vikings ($ 5,200). He was still showing that FanDuel allows Hill to be a tight end, and is basically guaranteed to touch what a relative value is.

FLEX Derrick Henry, Titans @ Patriots ($ 9,300). I’m not going to let myself be scared of what looks like a tough matchup on paper – Henry is just too good and will take too many bears to think he’ll be anything but not great.

D / ST Seattle Seahawks @ Eagles ($ 3,600). Seattle might prove that the NFC East was really as bad as some people think and joke around the Eagles.
