If you own Evan Engram and have reached your fantasy championship, despite his, kudos to you. You can still slip your toes back into injury and be in the top 10 of Week 16 TE rankings, but that seems unlikely at this point. Owners of Greg Olsen can breathe easier, since they look like they are back. And the Rams’ tough final could be one to avoid this week if Gerald Everett comes back to eat Tyler Higbee’s value for the 49ers. We have the latest updates below.

Evan Engram playing in Week 16?
Engram has lost the last five games to the Giants because of a back foot. Rhett Ellison continues to come out with a concussion, leaving Kaden Smith to handle his original duties for New York. The scheduled time spent last week was limited in practice before it was ruled out.
Let’s hope you still don’t have too much hope in Engram – he’s just as likely to close as he is going to play against the Redskins in Week 16. But if he plays, he’s a fantasy starter, so don’t dismiss him until he’s officially ruled out.

Greg Olsen Injury Update
Olsen has cleared the league’s concussion protocol, which has kept him out for the past two weeks and allowed Ian Thomas to garner two starts. When Olsen was active earlier in the season, Thomas didn’t play at all, so unless we have another indication of an end to the season again, we expect Olsen to take his time back at TE in Carolina.
Since Carolina has reportedly made the transition to Will Grier, maybe the Panthers will stick with Thomas, too. For now, we need to act like Olsen is a back-end starting tight end for Week 16 against the Colts.

Gerald Everett Injury News
Everett (knee) have lost their last three games as Tyler Hubbie got his start in LA. Last week it was referred to as “daily” before it was ruled out at the end of the week. The Rams play Saturday night against the 49ers.
You can’t really count on Everett at this point even if he plays – the biggest impact is for Higbee. But a matchup with the 49ers is not a good thing for him, and if Everett does it again, you would want to avoid Higbee.
