Dalvin Cook left the game Sunday after injuring his left shoulder. He’s the same shoulder that hurt Seattle in Week 13, which kept him out of the half and lost again the rest of last Sunday’s game after he went down in pain. Cook played the following week after the initial injury worsened on week 13, but his position at Week 16 will be in doubt with the fantasy leagues on the line, creating potential opportunities for injuries and cables with Vikings scarves Mike Boone and Alexander Mattison .

Update injury to Dalvin Cook
The Vikings are obviously in the thick of the playoffs, so they will want to play Cook if available. But if there is a risk of hurting him again on his shoulder, something that seemed to happen three times during the season (and twice within three weeks). Last time we were told it was just a “pain management problem” for Cook, but the pain seemed to be worse this time around.
Minnesota coach Mike Zimmer told reporters after Sunday’s game that Cook did not have the same shoulder injury in Week 15 as he did in Week 13. He did not leave Cook’s recovery time frame.

Who is the Vikings RB handcuffs? Mike Boone, Alexander Mattison is worth pickups
Obviously, Cook just has a weak left shoulder. This brings back up his backups for the Week 16 Monday night matchup with the Packers crazy defense. Alexander Mattison (ankle) missed Week 15 – if he did it back, he would be the favorite to get the bear and would be a fantasy starter. If Mattison and Cook are out, it will be Mike Boone who will lead the offense to the ball after making the ball 13 times for 56 yards and two scores in Week 15. Mattison and / or Boone should get rid of Priority this week, Kitchenware owners and anyone the Vikings return to the top against Green Bay is an RB2 for fantasy purposes.
