Josh Jacobs playing Week 15?

The MRI on Jacobs’ shoulder returned clean earlier this week and reportedly appeared to be “looking good” in practice on Thursday. He continues to be referred to as “controversial” in the official Oakland injury report, but said he is “planning” to play against the Jaguars this week.

Because the game starts at 4:05 pm ET, Jacobs owners will need to have a prime-time backup ready to go if it’s scratched. DeAndre Washington is his immediate backup to the Raiders, and will be a solid RB2 given the favorable matchup.

Derrick Henry playing on Week 15?

Despite not practicing all week and being “questionable” in the final Titans injury report, Henry and Titans coach Mike Brabel said the back will fit Sunday against the Texans. ESPN’s Adam Schefter also reported this late on Saturday night.

It would be a surprise if Henry was kept out of a key game, so start him off as you normally would as long as he is active. If it’s a surprise surprise, Dion Lewis would handle most of them and be a worthwhile FLEX in regular leagues and an RB2 in PPR leagues.

James Conner playing on Sunday night?

Conner (shoulder) took all the practices throughout the week and is “questionable” for Sunday night’s game against Buffalo. ESPN’s Adam Schefter announced late Saturday night that Conner is expected to play.

It is not clear whether Conner will receive all his touches. With Jaylen Samuels capable of getting back and Benny Snell younger providing a spark as a runner, Conner could be in line for about 10-12 touchdowns. However, it has the most opposite of any RB Steelers and should be considered at least one FLEX.

Damien Williams damage update

Williams (nerves) has not played since Week 11, but has received limited practice and is “questionable” for this week’s game against the Broncos.

It’s hard to trust any Chiefs RB right now. If Williams returns, he will probably be the “driver” behind, but that could mean only 10 touches. You can use it as FLEX in PPR championships, but if it’s out, don’t deal with any of the other Kansas City RBs.

This is Bo Scarbrough’s news

Scabrough (ribs) lost practice on Thursday and is “questionable” for Sunday’s game against Tampa.

Given Scarbrough’s tough match and health, fantasy owners have to look elsewhere, even if they are active. At best it’s a FLEX in regular leagues. If it’s out, J.D. McKissic could have some FLEX PPR value, but its ceiling is low.
