Fast X Will Now End With A Trilogy According To Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel, who stars in and makes Fast X, says that the movie could have three parts. He said today, May 12, at the red carpet event for the film in Rome, that Universal wants Fast X to be the first part of a trilogy. It was initially supposed to be two movies, but the studio may have asked, “Why not a third?”

“Before this movie was made, the studio asked if it could be split into two parts. When the studio saw Part 1, they asked if Fast X: The Finale could be made into a trilogy. So, um,” Diesel said with a pause. “Every story has three acts,” said co-star Michelle Rodriguez.

Diesel turned away from the interviewer and said, “I’m gonna get in trouble here.” Diesel is not going to get in trouble for this. This was all part of a plan to bring more attention to the Fast series.

Fast X started filming in April 2022, but there were problems immediately when director Justin Lin, who had been with the franchise for a long time, left the project without warning. Louis Leterrier, who worked on The Incredible Hulk and Netflix’s live-action Lupin, took his place.

Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, and Sung Kang are also in Fast X, along with Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez. Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), and Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad), who plays Dom’s grandmother, are among the new cast members.
