FIFA announces supplement dates for the World Cup

Doha: The International Football Association Board (FIFA) has announced the dates of the qualifying play-offs for the World Cup in Qatar on 13 and 14 June. The UAE will face Australia in the Asian play-offs on 7 June, with the winner meeting Peru on 13 June. The winner of this confrontation will join Group D of the World Cup alongside the champions in loads France, Denmark and Tunisia. Costa Rica will play New Zealand on June 14 to qualify for the World Cup finals in November and December. The winner of this confrontation will play in Group E with Spain, Germany and Japan. All matches will be played at 21:00 local time in Qatar. (Reuters)
