Saudi Arabian Trading and Manufacturig Company in Egypt exports first 12 buses to Saudi Arabian market

The Saudi Arabian Trading and Manufacturing Company in Egypt was able to export the factory’s first 12 buses to the Saudi Arabian market to serve the pilgrims.

Investment in production of tourist buses

The company is investing $2 billion over the next 10 years in the production of tourist buses, as the company aims to increase the production of buses in the coming years with the aim of exporting products to the Gulf countries and their African counterparts.

New bus plant in Suez province

Major General Ismail El-Najdi, CEO of the company in Egypt, added that the Arab company has invested LE 1.2 billion to set up a 166,000 square meter bus plant in Suez province. The facility, which opened in February last year, will produce 500 tour buses annually at the company’s plant, expecting to increase production to 1,000 buses in the coming years.

Local raw materials

He noted that the company uses 45% of local raw materials in the production of tourist buses, indicating that the company intends to increase local production to 65% over the next year. The company is working as an agent for China’s “King Luwing” in the local market for the production of buses.

Celebrating the export of the first 12 buses

He noted that today the company celebrates the export of the first 12 buses of the plant to the Saudi Arabian market.
