Football Academy Player History: Full list of past brackets, winners from 2014

The short history of the Academy’s playoffs has characterized its fair share of explosions and drama, as well as establishing teams of couples as the power of the sport.

The form of the four teams was heavy on the undoubted games in the semifinals, but featured much tighter games in the league. Although uncertainty is delicious at the beginning of each year, there is no ton of parity in the Playoff.

Alabama has reached four of the five playoffs so far, winning it twice. Clemson has done every one of the last five years, Oklahoma has been on four occasions and the state of Ohio has qualified three times. The Pac-12 has the fewest bids from any major conference with two to five years, while the SEC and ACC have at least one representative each season. The SEC became the first two-team conference (Alabama and Georgia) at the 2017 Playoff.

Here’s a look at past Playoff winners and anchors over the past five years and counting.
