Foreign Minister and Iraqi counterpart discuss stepping up bilateral coordination in Davos

His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today met with His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, Fuad Muhammad Hussein, on the sidelines of the 2023 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, in the Swiss city of Davos, during the meeting were passed in reviews the aspects of the strong and consolidated relations between the two sister countries and the ways to support and enhance them in all areas of joint cooperation, as well as discussing the intensification of bilateral coordination in to realize the aspirations of the two countries and of the two brother peoples.

The two sides discussed strengthening the two countries’ efforts to maintain security and stability in the Middle East region, as well as reviewing the most important topics of the “Davos 2023” agenda, including the progress of sustainable development in Worldwide.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custos of the Two Holy Mosques to the Swiss Confederation, Dr. Adel Merdad, and the Director General of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud.
