The meeting discussed the repercussions of the military escalation of the Houthi militia and its rejection of the ceasefire proposals on the Yemeni people, especially economically, according to the official Yemeni news agency.

It also touched upon the serious violations and threats perpetrated by the Houthi militia in the Red Sea and the recent acts of piracy against one of the civilian ships flying the flag of the Emirates, as well as continuing to land mines indiscriminately and attack merchant ships.

The meeting examined the efforts made to address the issue of the safest oil reservoir and the importance of continuing those efforts to spare Yemen and the region the risk of a potential environmental disaster due to the continued refusal of the Houthi militia to cooperate. in constructive way with the United Nations to inspect and maintain the tank and avoid the risk of oil leaks or explosions.
