Former EA, Bungie, and Kongerate Developers Launch New Studio: Introducing Look North World and Their First Game, Outlaw Corral for Fortnite
Former EA, Bungie, and Kongerate Developers Found New Studio
Look North World, a new game development studio, has been founded by a team of experienced developers. The founders include Alex Seropian, Jay Pecho, Patrick Moran, Kyle Marks, Aaron Marroquin, and Prashant Patil. Alex Seropian is well-known for co-founding Bungie, the studio behind the popular Halo and Destiny franchises.
Key Roles in the Studio
Within Look North World, Jay Pecho will serve as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Aaron Marroquin as the principal artist, Prashant Patil as the art director, and Kyle Marks as the creative director.
The First Game: Outlaw Corral
The studio’s first game, Outlaw Corral, is being developed in Unreal Engine for Fortnite. This exciting game is set in a wild west island and involves skill-based shootouts. Developing on Unreal Engine for Fortnite allows developers to monetize their creations based on the number of players who play on the island.
Alex Seropian shared his thoughts, saying, “Developing in Unreal Engine for Fortnite opens up a whole new world of opportunities, and we are venturing into uncharted territory. Through experimentation, we will involve players in decision-making, discovering what they like and incorporating their feedback.”
Embracing Player Feedback
Look North World values player input and encourages gamers to join their Discord community. By actively participating in the company’s Discord, players have the opportunity to provide input on future games.
Additionally, the first 1,000 Discord members will gain access to the company’s Beta Test channel, where they can test new games before release.
