Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Launch Delayed: Myths & Mortals Expansion Postponed by Epic Games

Attention Fortnite fans! Epic Games has made the tough decision to delay the launch of Chapter 5 Season 2 of the game. Originally set for release this morning, Season 2: Myths & Mortals will now be launching later at 2.15pm PT / 5.15pm ET / 10.15pm GMT.

The delay is due to an unexpected issue during maintenance, but the team is working hard to get everything sorted as quickly as possible. The new season, themed around Greek mythology, will introduce exciting new locations like Mount Olympus, Grim Gate, The Underworld, and Brawler’s Battleground.

Get ready for new weapons like the Gatekeeper Shotgun, the Harbinger SMG, and the Thunderbolt of Zeus. And don’t forget to check out the leaks for the upcoming Epic Games Store Spring Sale for some great deals.

In the meantime, mark your calendars for the next week’s free games on the Epic Games Store. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and The Bridge will be available for free from March 14-21. And if you haven’t claimed Astro Duel 2 yet, hurry up because it’s free until March 14!
