France announces the withdrawal of its last soldiers from Central Africa

The French Defense Ministry announced the withdrawal of the last 130-strong military unit from the Central African Republic, and the Defense Ministry said in a statement: “On December 15, French soldiers who were present in the Central African Republic in the framework of the logistic mission left under the umbrella of the national command”, noting that “the mission that 130 French soldiers have participated in its realization, and no longer has a practical justification.
The French contingent took care of the delivery of supplies of technical material to the base where members of the European Union Training Mission and the United Nations Mission in the capital Bangui for the stabilization of the Central African Republic are stationed.
