French Ambassador to the United States Philippe Etienne said in an interview with the Al-Arabiya channel that there is a “European consensus on the need for Iran to stop its nuclear violations”.

Furthermore, the French ambassador to the United States stressed that his country is consulting and coordinating with Great Britain and Germany, as well as with China and Russia for Iran’s swift return to negotiations in Vienna.

He said: “Our policies are very clear and focused on the need to return to the Joint Plan of Action. We also agree with the Americans that Iran needs to quickly return to negotiations in Vienna. This requires Iran. cooperate with the International. Atomic Energy Organization and let’s stop violating even the nuclear agreement. Let’s also discuss (with Iran) all other issues, not just the nuclear dossier “.

Ambassador Etienne also stressed that France’s policy “matches Washington’s” in the archives of Iraq and Lebanon.

In another context, he felt that relations between Paris and Washington “have recovered after the Australian nuclear submarine crisis”, adding that US presidents Joe Biden and France’s Emmanuel Macron will hold a meeting on the sidelines of the G -20 at the end of this month.

The French ambassador stressed that “France is America’s oldest ally”, adding that the two countries have “a unified policy towards China”.
