Kylian Mbappe clarifies his position on Enrique’s criticism

France national team striker Kylian Mbappé broke his silence and clarified the nature of the relationship between him and Spanish coach Luis Enrique, coach of Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappé made this statement during the press conference regarding the confrontation with the Gibraltar national team in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, where Kylian addressed the criticism directed at him after facing Reims in the French League.

The Spanish newspaper “El Mundo Deportivo” reported the statements of French star Kylian Mbappe, as Mbappe said during the press conference regarding the confrontation with the Gibraltar national team in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

Commenting on Luis Enrique’s criticism of him, Mbappe said: “I don’t need a coach telling me every day that I am the best in the world. I accepted what he said.”

He continued: “I dealt with the matter very well. Enrique is a great coach, and he has a lot to teach me. From the first day I told him that he would not have any problems with me. I am a demanding player with myself.”

He concluded: “I have always worked very well with my coach, and I demand of myself to strive for the best. I do not need to be told that I am the best for me in order to play well.”

It is noteworthy that the French national team has succeeded in officially qualifying for the Euro 2024 finals, which are scheduled to be held in the summer of next year in Germany.
