Frankfurt and Leipzig set foot in the Europa League final

LONDON: German teams Eintracht Frankfurt and Leipzig have taken an important step towards qualifying for the final of the European Football Championship. Eintracht Frankfurt beat West Ham United 2-1, while RB Leipzig beat Glasgow Rangers 1-0 in the first leg of the continental championship semi-finals on Thursday. At the Olympic Stadium in the British capital, London, Eintracht Frankfurt opened the match in the best way, after Ansgar Knauf scored a goal in advance for the German team in the first seconds of the match. Michel Antonio drew for West Ham United in the 21st minute, ending the first half with one goal for each team. The emotions continue in the second half, when the Japanese Daiichi Kamada returns in advantage over Frankfurt, after scoring the second goal for the Germans in the 54th minute, a draw in the rest of the game, useless. It is enough for Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt to draw with rivals in the second round, which will take place last Thursday in Scotland and Germany, to reach the final of the tournament, which will be played in the Spanish city of Seville on 18 May.
