After last week the Forces for Freedom and Change (Central Council) confirmed the possibility of a framework agreement with the army that could pave the way for a definitive solution to the political crisis that has been afflicting Sudan for months, it seems that the signing of this agreement is near.
Sources from those forces told Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath that the signing of the framework agreement is expected by the end of next week
He also clarified that after the framework agreement is signed, the issues will be discussed in suspended and the observations of the transitional forces on the constitution (including transitional justice, the security and military reform process and the process of pace…)
Furthermore, he confirmed that a deadline has been set to reach a final agreement by the end of the year
He explained that about 30 organizations have so far signed the political declaration supplementing the transitional constitution.
This agreement is based on what has been called the “transitional constitution”, i.e. a draft new constitution for the country presented by the Sudanese Bar Association in an attempt to resolve the crisis.Revision of the agreement pace of Juba signed in October 2020.

Sudan, which is one of the poorest countries in the world, has been bogged down since October 25, 2021, when the army imposed exceptional measures and dissolved the previous government, in political and economic stagnation, despite all international efforts to establish a solution between civilians and the military.
