Gail Porter opened up to Express.co.uk about the tough times she has faced in her life. She discussed how she was able to overcome these struggles and is now sharing her advice for those who may be going through similar experiences. She is currently fronting a new Samaritans campaign, which encourages people to start conversations if they think someone needs help. Gail also discussed her experiences of homelessness and alopecia, and how talking to friends helped her through these difficult times. She is encouraging others not to feel burdened by talking to people and to remember that their friends are there for them. Gail will be at the No Filter Café in Manchester Piccadilly Station today to promote the Small Talk, Saves Lives campaign.
