Every year a series of games are presented that we consider a “must” before we critically question them. These are games that are in full swing, are from legendary developers, or are innovative in a way that just reading about them is not enough. These games may not be the best of the year, but they are enough to warrant playthrough or at least a look.
Death Stranding was one of those titles for 2019. Before the release, nobody really knew what to expect. When it finally came out, it was one of the most polarizing games in the recent past, making it a game that most people had to see for themselves. Given the secrets of game companies, we probably don’t know about most of the games that will be launched in 2020, especially those for PlayStation 5 and Xbox. Of these secret games, we’ll no doubt see another Call of Duty next year, and Assassin’s Creed should come back after a year off. Both games will likely deserve a place on this “must” list, but I can’t say for sure until we know more about both. Here are the titles we know a lot about and would like to get our hands on:
